Volunteering - community contributions that really make a
difference - around the country Choice Support through its One to
One projects are Supporting people with learning disabilities in the
workplace .... Can you volunteer?
Lynda Frampton, a parent whose daughter is supported by Choice Support is sailing the Atlantic. She will be raising funds for us......
“You may know that I have been invited to undertake "a bit of a
challenge" in November - sailing across the Atlantic as a member
of the crew of the yacht Sea Rover leaving on Sunday 23rd
November from the Canaries, aiming to make landfall approx three
weeks later in St Lucia.
You may also know that my younger daughter Olivia is profoundly disabled, and is supported 24 hours a day by a fantastically dedicated care team from Choice Support who manage all aspects of her care and ensure that she has a wonderful life. Choice Support is a charitable organisation offering supported living solutions to people with a wide range of disabilities - they have changed both Olivia's and my life immeasurably. If you'd like to encourage me in this somewhat daunting challenge by helping to raise money for them, that would be great.....the tiniest amount would I promise be used very wisely. Whilst this is welcome news, we recognise that the need to maintain this standard of delivering good quality services must remain the main priority and not just in services where CSCI have regulatory authority but across all services Choice Support provides.
